Learning Alliance Corporation (LAC) will officially open its new telecommunications training campus in Plant City, with major equipment support from ANDREW®, during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 10.

The facility is designed to provide hands-on training for students, veterans, and transitioning service members pursuing careers in broadband and telecommunications infrastructure. The campus brings technical instruction, simulation labs, and academic programming into a single location to support workforce readiness.

The opening is supported by an in-kind equipment contribution from ANDREW®. The donated equipment is used in classrooms and labs and reflects technology currently deployed in national broadband networks. Students train in professional-grade systems aligned with field conditions. The campus represents a dedicated training pathway focused on preparing participants for immediate employment in the telecommunications sector. Programs are designed to reflect industry safety standards, technical requirements, and operational expectations.

“This campus expands access to structured telecom training and connects learners directly to industry-relevant equipment,” said Cesar Ruiz, Chief Executive Officer of LAC.

“Preparing the next generation of telecom professionals is essential to sustaining the reliability and performance our industry depends on. Providing equipment that mirrors real deployment environments allows students to build the practical skills networks require. Supporting LAC’s new campus aligns with our commitment to strengthening the ecosystem and advancing a better connected future,” said Vinnie Pizza, Vice President Sales, Americas, Outdoor Wireless Networks.

The Plant City campus supports workforce development efforts tied to broadband expansion and telecommunications infrastructure growth in Florida and across the United States.
