The Exhibit Hall Opens Today at SATELLITE 2024

The Exhibit Hall Opens at 10 a.m. today for SATELLITE 2024, taking place through Thursday at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

Today, Tuesday, March 19, attendees will hear new keynotes and headlining speakers for the event, including Glenn Latta, Managing Director, Inflight Entertainment & Connectivity at Delta Airlines. Paul Gaske, Chief Operating Officer at Hughes is slated  for Tuesday’s Opening Keynote. Latta leads the implementation teams enabling Delta’s vision to bring fast, free WiFi across its global fleet.

Gwynne Shotwell, President & COO of SpaceX, is slated to appear during Tuesday’s Opening General Session, “How Industry Leaders are Investing in Growth: Innovative Satellite Technologies for New Customers.” She joins industry executives from Eutelsat Group, Astranis Space Technologies, Telesat, and SES to discuss how they’re scaling up and going on the offense with strategic investments in technology and new customer acquisition.  

FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel is scheduled to speak at the show this afternoon. She recently moved to start a new Space Bureau to improve how the agency regulates the satellite industry. Under her leadership, the FCC is engaging on key issues like satellite-to-cell policy, orbital debris, and in-space manufacturing, Inside Towers reported. She’s to appear alongside Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union Doreen Bogdan-Martin in a panel titled: How Public-Private Partnerships Will Build a Worldwide Network of Meaningful Connectivity, today at 1:45 p.m.
