The 4th Annual Tough Tower competition announced its return June 11 and 12, in North Jackson, OH. For the first time, proceeds from the event will benefit the newly established Tough Tower Foundation, an organization dedicated to promoting financial wellness and suicide prevention programs for workers in the telecommunications industry.

“Since the beginning, Tough Tower has celebrated the hardworking men and women who keep our communications networks running,” said Mark Muzzana, owner of co-founding sponsor STG Communications and president of the Tough Tower Foundation. “These professionals operate in a demanding, high-stress environment, and they deserve support both on and off the tower. This year, we’re excited to raise awareness for the Foundation and the programs we’re developing to help strengthen the well-being of our workforce.”

Free and open to the public, Tough Tower is a family-friendly event that brings together tower technicians, industry leaders, educators, technology innovators, and community members for a unique experience that continues to grow in size and impact each year. The event features live tower climbing competitions, hands-on equipment demonstrations, and educational opportunities designed to showcase the telecommunications industry and inspire the next generation of professionals.

The event begins with a celebration and networking reception at Hollywood Gaming Mahoning Valley on June 10, followed by two days of competition and interactive experiences. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the latest safety and climbing equipment from industry leaders including FallTech and SKYLOTEC, watch live climb coverage on large displays, and enjoy family attractions such as a KidZone featuring a giant inflatable slide.
