Tower Guy is Now on WISPA Board

The Wireless Internet Service Providers Association said Daniel White, Dave Giles, and Todd Harpest are the winners of its 2019 Board of Directors election. They will serve a three-year term ending in 2022.

Daniel White has spent over 14 years in the ISP industry, climbing towers, engineering wireless systems, and managing sales and operations for equipment manufacturers and distributors. Currently, White is Co-Founder of Las Vegas-based Atheral, a white-label VoIP and IPTV provider for WISPs looking to offer telephony and television services on their existing networks. White was previously on the WISPA Board of Directors from 2015-2016.

Todd Harpest co-founded MetaLINK Technologies 23 years ago as a dial-up ISP located in his home basement in Defiance, OH. Today, MetaLINK is a broadband provider using both wireless and fiber technologies. While Harpest sold his interest in the company in 2009, he remains as the company’s External Affairs and Regulatory Director. Harpest has long-been active with WISPA promoting the causes of the WISP industry as a member of the Policy Committee, and presently also chairs the State Coordinator Committee.

Dave Giles is GM, Fixed Wireless Manager for Midco, based in Sioux Falls, SD. Giles is also a past WISPA PAC Board Director, as well as the winner of the WISPA President’s Award of Excellence.
