When a storm rolled through Gogebic County, Michigan, last week, trees were knocked down and a 300-foot transmitter tower fell. The tower is used by WUPM-FM, and with wind gusts as high as 50 mph, the tower toppled. The translator for 92.9-FM, and the building the WUPM-FM tower uses didn’t appear to be damaged. The Gogebic County Sheriff’s Department was unaware of how much it would cost to repair the tower.
