“Our nation’s veterans are ideally suited to serve the wireless infrastructure industry, and they do so on a daily basis,” Jonathan Adelstein, President and CEO of the Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA) told Inside Towers.
“Their contributions to the wireless infrastructure industry are significant on a variety of fronts – from insider board rooms to high atop towers,” Adelstein said. “As the wireless industry continues to expand and grow, veterans will continue to play a vital role in the widespread deployment of mobile broadband.”
“WIA works closely with Warriors4Wireless (W4W),” he said, “an organization dedicated to helping returning veterans receive training and support to fill jobs in the wireless industry, to ensure that all veterans have access to the training and educational opportunities they need to build rewarding careers in the wireless sector.”
