AT&T and Verizon are bringing COWs and COLTs into the area so attendees of the PGA Championship at the Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky will be able to make calls, send texts, and upload pictures of their experience. These temporary towers will boost the capacity for the estimated 250,000 people in attendance. “You can have the smartest phone in your hand, but nothing if you don’t have service,” said Ben Loetz, an advanced solutions architect for Verizon. The PGA Championship will take place from August 7th to August 10th, if you’re in the area send us pictures of the COWs/COTLs and let us know how many bars and pars!
