VIDEO Would you know what to do if a climber needed help? A recent safety video released by No Quarter Media in collaboration with Subcarrier Communications depicted a dramatic rescue from a 1,200 ft tower following the new ANSI 10.48 standards.

“The purpose of this video,” said Kathy Gill, one of the featured climbers and owner/operator of Tower Safety & Instruction, “is to teach the industry how to practice rescue more often. Many times people are getting stuck up there who have no availability and training to learn how to bring a victim down.”

The film features tower crew members Tommy Smith, Ben Vary, Kathy Gill and Justin Hayes. Equipment suppliers were: Petzl JAG System, Sterling Rope (11mm rope) and Arizona Hiking Shack.
